KLC Workers’ Compensation Safety Grant April 17 Deadline

The Kentucky League of Cities’ Workers’ Compensation Safety Grant is now open. It is available at www.klc.org under Member Resources.

Applications will be accepted March 9, 2026, through April 17, 2026, or until all funds are awarded. Grants are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so early submission is encouraged.

To apply, you must submit your application online and include receipts, invoices, or purchase orders at the time of submission. Please ensure all purchase orders and invoices are dated between July 1, 2025, and April 17, 2026.

To apply, you will need to log in to your klc.org. Once logged in, go to the insurance dashboard and scroll down until you see “Member Resources” at the bottom right on your computer screen or at the bottom of your screen on your mobile device. Then, click on “2026 Workers’ Compensation Safety Grant.”

Grants are made available through KLC Insurance – a member-owned program governed by a board of trustees comprised of representatives from the participating members. Cities, their agencies, boards, commissions, units of local government, and other non-profit public purpose organizations are eligible to participate in KLC’s insurance programs. KLC Insurance offers general liability, public officials’ liability, law enforcement liability, and automobile coverages on an occurrence basis, with no annual aggregate limit. Cyber liability and sewer backup liability are also available.
