The Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) is committed to providing comprehensive property, liability, and workers’ compensation coverage for our members. Renewal applications for policies expiring July 1, 2026, are still available on the insurance portal. Please submit completed applications by March 23, 2026.
Policy contacts on file and any applicable agent would have received an email notification when the applications were available. The message included instructions for accessing the documents through the insurance portal and guidance on completing and submitting the forms electronically.
Failure to submit the renewal applications will result in a delay in receipt of your insurance renewal.
New for 2026 Renewals
KLC Insurance members with a combined premium of $50,000 or less for property, liability, and workers’ compensation coverage are not required to complete a renewal application this year. No further action is needed; those policies will automatically renew on July 1 based on current exposures.
To help maintain appropriate coverage levels, inflation factors will be applied to building, contents, and equipment values. Members should still report any changes that could affect coverage, including the addition or removal of vehicles, property, or equipment, as well as any new exposures to consider. Updates can be submitted through your local agent or directly to the KLC Agency or Underwriting Department. Policy contacts will receive a separate e-mail outlining all items to be noted for this new process.
Contact KLC Director of Underwriting Suzanne Reed with any questions.
