New Online Training for KLC Insurance Police Departments

Exciting Announcement! New Online Training System for Police

KLC Insurance Services has contracted with the Legal and Liability Risk Management Institute (LLRMI) and Bridge, an established e-learning management program to provide a long-term solution for our police departments. The new system will provide online legal and best practices risk management training and documentation. This system will be free to all members of the Kentucky League of Cities Insurance program!

There are several components to Bridge that will improve the online training experience for agencies and officers:

• Easy sign-up upon receiving an email invitation from Bridge for each officer
• Mobile Ready: log in anytime, anywhere on desktops, laptops, smart phones & tablets.
• Learning Library containing over 200 courses & quizzes
• Customization options
• Administrative capabilities to monitor progress & assign courses
• Emailed training reminders & overdue notifications
• Supervisory dashboard & reports to monitor users & view course results
• Unlimited, 24/7 user support

All KLC Insurance Services agencies need to email a copy of the enrollment spreadsheet to Marsha Salvage at LLRMI with each officer’s name.  Her email is listed at the top right of the enrollment sheet.  Each police officer will need their own email account. If they do not have an email, they will need to get one which can be obtained free at Gmail.com.
