The West Buechel Police Department is now accepting applications for Police Officer-Lateral, for existing vacant positions and future hiring needs. The West Buechel Police Department is looking for State Certified (POPS), motivated, lateral transfers within the hazardous duty retirement system along with retirees who still have a spark in their law enforcement journey. We’re offering great medical benefits with complete coverage for single member and a competitive family plan if needed. For full-time applicants, we have a take home car policy for Jefferson County residents. A restructuring of the West Buechel PD has been underway since 2021, and we currently operate on eight hour shifts with fixed off days. Salary Information: Starting $43,680 (not including $4,000 klefpf)
