City EDvantage Session: Sidewalk Safety

Well-maintained sidewalks keep your residents safe by reducing costly trips and falls. In this session, Jessica and Shayne will discuss sidewalk maintenance programs that have been implemented in several Kentucky cities and budget-conscious techniques for sidewalk repair through multi-year maintenance projects. They will talk about the common types of hazards/repairs and maintenance items that affect those with disabilities, as well as the ADA guidelines for maintenance and repair of sidewalk infrastructure.

Who should attend: City officials committed to keeping their sidewalks safe

Credit: 1 hour of City Officials Training Center credit and/or Training Incentive Program (House Bill 119) credit.
