Grants for Public Food Gardens-due November 12

Grants ranging from $100 to $600 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and schools for a wide variety of public food garden projects.

Projects may include school gardens, community gardens, food bank gardens, senior gardens, and homeless shelter gardens.

The grants offered are on a sliding scale and range from $50 to $700. - Strong Start Grants: $100- Geographic Interest Grants: $100-$200- Challenge Grants: $600 (1), $500 (9), $400 (10), $300 (20), $200 (30), $100 (50), or $50 (50) based on ranking. (The size of the grant each project is capable of winning depends on the amount it is able to raise over the course of the 30-Day challenge period running from November 15 to December 15.)
