Brothers Helping Brothers Additional Information
Brothers Helping Brothers assists small and/or rural fire departments obtain vital tools and lifesaving equipment through its grant program. Grants enable Fire and EMS organizations to purchase new equipment (mostly valued under $10,000). Brothers Helping Brothers also offers programs to equip departments with gently used equipment and education opportunities.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants for a Brothers Helping Brothers grant are limited to fire departments or EMS organizations operating in any of the 50 states plus the District of Columbia. Applicants must serve a population of fewer than 10,000 people, or the applying organization must have less than 30 employees of which a majority is volunteer or paid per call personnel.
