Recruiting a full-time Code Enforcement Officer with the ability to deal courteously with the public, whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• conducting regular inspections to investigate complaints involving violations of city ordinances and to ensure buildings and properties are in compliance;
• reparing reports and correspondence on open cases;
• attending Code Enforcement Board meetings to share information about cases referred to the board.

Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalency. Two (2) years of code enforcement experience and certification as a I and II Family Dwelling Inspector and ICC Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector are preferred, but not required.

Salary Information: $33,280 - $42,235 based on experience. Excellent benefit package.
