RX Card Program

KLC is frequently approached to help co-market programs and services. After comprehensive due diligence, KLC has partnered with a small number of reputable businesses and other organizations to support products/programs that save cities time and money, minimize risk and help cities enhance services to constituents.

KLC has partnered with United Networks of America (UNA) to provide this card at no cost.  Anyone can use the card whether they have existing prescription coverage or not. The Rx Card can also be used with other ancillary services including eyecare, dental and hearing aid providers.

Your city can distribute the card locally and market it as a benefit to citizens.  All distribution materials are available in Spanish.

What is the Kentucky RX Card?

The RX Card program is a tool cities are using to help citizens with the high cost of prescriptions.

Success Story: City of LaGrange

The City of LaGrange (population approx. 8,000) started distributing the KY RX card and within two months, the savings to residents topped $144,000.

Those astronomical savings have no strings attached: The person simply presents the RX Card at the pharmacy.  The promotion costs the city nothing because it was included in a tax billing.  Other cities are using this same model including the City of Alexandria!
What makes this program work is its simplicity.  It's something cities can distribute that can easily save people money.  Why wouldn't you want to help your citizens save on prescriptions?

In addition to distributing the cards at city offices and local events, consider including the cards in mailings. IT WORKS!
