Required license or certification: Valid driver’s license The Special Events Director, under general supervision of the Appalachian Wireless Arena’s General Manager, coordinates all activities and/or tourism events in the city of Pikeville. This includes the planning, organizing, and controlling of said attractions/events within the city to meet the contractual obligations and quality customer service standards. Working Conditions: This position requires physical activity and will work in both indoor and outdoor environments with moderate to loud noise levels. Will be assigned an irregular work schedule including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
