Feb. 25, 2026

We invite you to join us for City Day/City Night on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026. The yearly event is an excellent opportunity for city officials to network, meet with their legislators, and attend committee meetings.

The morning will begin with a KLC Board of Directors meeting at the Kentucky Historical Society. KLC will provide lunch in the Capitol Annex cafeteria. We encourage city officials to attend legislative committee meetings in the Capitol Annex and make an appointment to discuss local issues with your community’s legislators. To learn who your legislators are, please visit this link and email them to schedule your meeting. It is important that your legislators hear your voice advocating to keep local decisions at the local level. Your legislators can also reserve galley passes for you to watch the action on the House and Senate floor.

KLC will hold the City Night reception at the Kentucky History Center beginning at 4:30 p.m. EST.

There is a room block at the Capital Plaza Hotel. If you have questions about hotel accommodation, please contact Demita Kubala at 800.876.4552.

Hotel room block cutoff date is Feb. 12, 2026. You will receive hotel block information in your confirmation email once registered.
