The National League of Cities (NLC) Public Finance Consortium elected Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) Director of Corporate Law & Financial Services Robyn Miller to serve as chair. Miller will help lead the group, which includes various state leagues and nonprofit organizations that provide governmental financing or investment programs for local governments. Members of the consortium elected Miller at a meeting in Alabama.
“I am honored to serve as chair of the Public Finance Consortium,” Miller said. “The group provides members an opportunity to discuss best practices and programs that help city officials secure needed bonding and financing options for their communities. We are always looking for ways to maximize the services we provide KLC members. The relationships and information gleaned in this national role will help our team better serve Kentucky cities.”
“Robyn is a skilled and experienced attorney, and I know her new position with the consortium will benefit both KLC and NLC,” responded KLC Executive Director|CEO James D. Chaney. “We are proud to see the group select Robyn and congratulate her on this important role.”
Miller has been with the Kentucky League of Cities since 2000. As director of Corporate Law & Financial Services, she manages all corporate legal matters, oversees KLC’s finance and investment pool programs, and serves as legal counsel for KLC and its related entities.
