Registration deadlines for the spring semester classes at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) are approaching. HR and other managers are encouraged to remind city employees about the Kentucky League of Cities’ unique tuition discount program. Links and downloadable flyers are available here.
Dozens of city employees and officials have taken advantage of the tuition discount program since its launch as an exclusive partnership with Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) for KLC members. The program provides a 30% tuition scholarship for all programs and a 20% discount on workforce development courses. In addition to the discounted tuition, eligible city employees and officials can receive free textbooks and locked-in tuition rates for two years.
The EKU Advantage partnership provides KLC members with greater accessibility to the various educational programs at EKU. All online and on-campus programs qualify for the discount. Current EKU students are also eligible.
