Following input from the Kentucky Division for Air Quality (DAQ), the Kentucky Environmental Compliance Assistance Program (ECAP) crafted new guidance documents pertaining to asbestos and its regulations for renovation and demolition projects. The Asbestos Guidance Manual for Renovation and Demolition Projects breaks down Kentucky’s regulations and requirements. This information is relevant to government agencies, building owners, and contractors involved in any renovation and demolition project.
The Department also created a flyer that cities can post in workplaces that links directly to the website and guidance manual.
