OSHA 300A Form Must Be Posted by Feb. 1

It’s time for cities to post their annual Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses report. The form, known as OSHA Form 300A, provides employees with crucial information about the previous year’s workplace safety record.

Employers with more than 10 employees must post the form between Feb. 1 and April 30 each year. It should be posted in a visible area where notices are typically displayed to ensure all workers have access.

“Posting the OSHA Form 300A is a federal requirement, but it is also an excellent way to maintain an open line of communication with your employees about workplace safety,” Kentucky League of Cities Director of Loss Control Aaron Parrish said. “It’s important to create transparency and a focus on safety year-round, and this form is an excellent reminder.”
