Update for Kentucky Broadband Stakeholders
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) recently issued its BEAD Restructuring Policy Notice, which outlined steps state broadband offices must undertake within 90 days. Each state must hold at least one additional round of subgrantee selection for ALL eligible locations.
The Kentucky Office of Broadband Development will re-open pre-qualification for interested prospective subgrantees from June 16 to June 27, 2025.
Important Dates
- June 16: Pre-qualification opens
- June 19: Last day for ULFW providers to notify the office of intent to submit evidence of service for BEAD-eligible locations
- June 27: Pre-qualification closes
- Week of June 30: Updated BEAD-eligible BSLs available
- July 7: Application window opens
- July 28: Application window closes
