THE JM Kaplan Fund offers Furthermore Grants of up to $12,000 to municipalities, public agencies, and nonprofits to support efforts to produce and publish non-fiction books. Funding is intended for publications on the subjects of art, architecture, and design; cultural history, the city, and related public issues; and conservation and preservation.
Preference is given to book projects that have a university press, nonprofit, or trade publisher already committed and a feasible distribution plan in place.
