The Cynthiana Fire Department is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. New hires will be required to complete a 13-week in-house recruitment class to obtain their Kentucky State Basic 2 Certification. Additionally, all employees must obtain their EMT-B certification within 18 months of their hire date. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a 24/48-hour schedule, paid health care, 13 paid holidays annually, hazard duty retirement, and $25,000 in life insurance coverage. Upon successful completion of the recruit class, firefighters will earn an annual salary of $40,000, with an additional yearly incentive pay of $4,429.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Kentucky driver’s license
• Valid Kentucky CPAT card
