Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a High School Diploma/GED
• Must possess a valid Kentucky driver's license
• Must possess a CPAT card by the date of hire
• Must pass the Fire Department's Physical Exam
• Must pass a written exam
• Must possess Kentucky Firefighter Basic I Certification or KY KBEMS EMT-B certification: IFSAC Firefighter I, IFSAC Firefighter II, KY EMT-B, OSHA HazMat Tech, NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 must be obtained 12 months from the date of hire
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
