Legislative Session Update 2

The 2023 Regular Session of the General Assembly is underway. Legislators are meeting to discuss dozens of measures, including several that will impact cities. KLC is also advocating for measures that the KLC Board of Directors identified as crucial for city governments. Stay updated throughout the session on bills and actions that could impact your city's operation and community. 

KLC Executive Director|CEO James D. Chaney and Director of Public Affairs Bryanna L. Carroll will hold Zoom meetings with city officials throughout the 2023 session to keep you updated on issues and bills moving through the different chambers. You will also learn how to champion issues vital to your city's success.

Credit: Participants will receive one hour of KLC City Officials Training Center credit and/or House Bill 119 credit.
