In-kind donations to USA and Territories nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and public entities that are interested in receiving property no longer needed by the federal government. This program distributes property of all types, with the exception of federal government records, certain naval vessels, and land and other real property.
State agencies and public organizations seeking donations of surplus federal property should contact a SASP representative in their region. These state-run organizations coordinate with the federal program for the donation of federal surplus property to public, tax-supported entities and eligible private nonprofit tax-exempt organizations.
