KLC's partner, the Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED), is joining the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development (KCED) to provide the third round of the Kentucky Product Development Initiative. The initiative features $100 million in grants for turn-key buildings and build-ready sites in Kentucky that will stimulate economic development projects that promote corporate investment and create quality jobs across the commonwealth.
Recipients can use grant funds for due diligence studies, public property acquisition, infrastructure extensions and improvements, site preparation work, road improvements, and building construction or renovation.
Projects receiving grants will enhance the ability of companies to achieve speed to market with real estate options that are ready to use. KCED funds recommended projects that meet eligibility requirements. Participating communities will receive detailed, metric-based feedback, and one-on-one consultation from Site Selection Group, a Texas-based advisory company.
KAED and KCED will offer webinars on Thursday, July 14 at 10 a.m. EDT and Thursday, July 21 at 11 a.m. EDT. KAED and KCED will provide a link to register for the July 21 webinar ahead of the session. KAED recommends participation in both webinars.
