Kentucky city officials can shop from the state’s stockpile of surplus items. The Kentucky Division of Surplus Properties will host its annual online equipment auction Oct. 16-24, 2023. This year’s auction will be conducted exclusively online in partnership with the Logsdon Group auctioneers. Public inspection dates without appointments are Oct. 16-17, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. EDT. All items can be seen at the KYTC Division of Equipment at 1239 Wilkinson Boulevard in Frankfort.
The auction will feature heavy-duty trucks, snowplows, tractors, mowers, and assorted parts and equipment. More than 600 pieces will be presented for public purchase. A 7% buyer’s premium will be added to all final bids. The Kentucky Division of Surplus Properties must receive payments before the end of business on Friday, Oct. 27. No payment extensions will be granted, and all sales are final.
Buyers are responsible for the shipping and removal of all items. Items may be picked up Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3. The pick-up schedule will be provided along with invoices for payment. No property will be released without a stamped, paid invoice from the Kentucky Division of Surplus Properties.
