Apply Now: 2024 Dr. Joseph W. Coleman Memorial Scholarship
KLC is now taking applications for the 2024 Dr. Joseph W. Coleman Memorial Scholarship. Now in its second year, the scholarship honors former KLC Research and Federal Relations Manager Dr. Joseph W. Coleman and his passion for education and local governance.
The scholarship provides $5,000 for a student pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. Students must submit an application and all required documentation by June 3, 2024.
KLC established the scholarship in 2023 after the untimely passing of Dr. Coleman, a longtime KLC employee. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Coleman inspired colleagues and city officials alike. The scholarship aims to recognize his contributions and help establish future leaders with a shared commitment to growing strong, vibrant local communities.
