Kentucky has some of the best cities in the nation, and here’s your chance to prove it.
The National Civic League (NCL) is accepting applications for the 2025 All-America City Award. More than 500 communities have been recognized as an All-America City since the program began in 1949, including six from Kentucky.
The theme for 2025 is “Strengthening Environmental Sustainability through Inclusive Community Engagement.” The NCL seeks communities that actively engage residents, businesses, and government stakeholders in initiatives to promote environmental sustainability and strengthen community resilience.
The application can be downloaded here. Applications are due Feb. 7, 2025. Twenty finalists will be named in March of 2025 and invited to the All-America City Award event in Denver, Colorado, in June, where the 10 winners will be announced.
Cities interested in applying for the 2025 award should submit a letter of intent to apply by Dec. 30 to save $100 on the application fee. A letter of intent is not required to apply.
Questions can be submitted to Rebecca Trout, director of the All-America City Award and communications at the NCL, or by calling 303.571.4343.
