KLC Women’s Lunchtime Series Begins in July

The Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) is following up on the success of our inaugural Women in City Government Summit in March. We are keeping the momentum going with a new networking series designed for women by women. Summit speaker Dr. Janelle McNeal will lead the one-hour virtual sessions based on survey feedback from the summit. They are conveniently scheduled at midday and designed to be uplifting and enlightening.

Each session will begin with an opening presentation followed by a group conversation in a Zoom meeting. The sessions are a safe place to talk about challenges, aspirations, and ideas. Participants can take a break, eat their lunch, and relax for an hour with other women who can relate.

In her Kentucky practice, Dr. McNeal and her team work primarily with entrepreneurial and professional women to help them achieve their “unachievable” personal and professional goals. She is a mastermind facilitator and helps create a space for ambitious women to grow their careers and achieve personal development as a natural outcome of that process.

Dr. McNeal has more than 15 years of experience as a licensed psychologist and entrepreneur. She is committed to helping women navigate their multiple roles and responsibilities and life's inevitable ups and downs.

While each session will have a nominal $25 registration fee, KLC offers participants an opportunity to bundle all four events into one $80 special price. You can register for individual sessions below or take advantage of the bundle price here.

Participants will receive one hour per session of KLC City Officials Training Center (COTC) credit and/or House Bill 119 credit.
