Virtual Healthcare Available to Storm Victims
KLC Insurance Services strategic partner Teladoc is offering no-cost virtual healthcare for victims of the December storms. General medical telehealth visits are available to residents and first responders of impacted cities. Licensed healthcare professionals provide the care for both adult and pediatric patients.
People who need diagnoses and treatment can call the Teladoc natural disaster hotline at 855-225-5032. Medical staff can diagnose and treat non-emergency conditions, including sinus problems, respiratory infections, allergies, colds, and flu symptoms. The service can also provide physician authorization for non-narcotic prescriptions.
People in tornado-affected areas do not need to be members or health insurance customers to access the free service.
