Waste Management offers grants to nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that benefit residents in eligible communities. Grants are for organizations in the areas where Waste Management does business and may fall into one of the following categories:
- Community vitality - When Waste Management ensures that local neighborhoods and communities are safe and sustainable, it provides the best living environment for customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Environmental conservation - The environment affects every aspect of our lives, from the air we breathe to the way we power our homes. With a commitment to sustainability and reducing dependence on fossil fuels, Waste Management gives priority consideration to organizations and programs that preserve and/or enhance renewable resources.
- Environmental education - Waste Management is committed to enhancing communities through programs that make them cleaner and better places to live.
