The Kentucky League of Cities Workers’ Compensation Trust is required to conduct payroll audits of each member at the close of the policy year, which was June 30. If you are a workers’ compensation fund member with a premium of less than $5,000, you should have received an email notice to log in to the KLC Insurance Services portal to retrieve instructions for completing your July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, self-audit. You must return the completed audit to KLC Insurance Services by Sept. 15, 2022.
If you are a workers’ compensation member with a premium greater than $5,000, you should have received an email notice to log in to the KLC Insurance Services portal to retrieve your instructions for getting your documents prepared for an on-site audit. These audits will begin in late August and continue through the end of the year. The audits will be performed once again by AFIRM Solutions, and their representatives will call you to schedule the audit.
It is very important that we get all of these audits completed in a timely manner, and your cooperation is appreciated.
