The Kentucky Heritage Council has released the 2023-2027 Kentucky State Historic Preservation Plan. The Council conducts public surveys every five years or so to determine what worked when it comes to historic preservation and to develop future plans. The survey released this month is the first since 2017.
It provides a toolbox for preserving our local heritage and contains numerous practical resources that any community can use.
You can download the new 26-page report, “A Toolbox for Saving Ourselves: The Kentucky State Historic Preservation Plan” here. The report states that city administrators and elected officials can find information included on how to conduct historic preservation and how it leverages economic development.
