KLC Hosts Blood Drive During Conference

We look forward to seeing you soon at the KLC Conference & Expo in Lexington! 

For several years, KLC has provided opportunities for conference attendees to participate in onsite charitable activities. KLC is again partnering with our regional blood center to support the needs of Kentuckians in the area with an onsite blood drive, which will be during the Thursday, Sept. 21 Expo from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. If you would like to participate, please sign up here.

In addition to free shirts and goodies from the Kentucky Blood Center, the city with the most blood donations from registered attendees will receive a pizza party for your city staff!

Spaces are limited, so sign up immediately and encourage your fellow city employees and officials attending the conference to do the same.

Some notes from the Kentucky Blood Center:

1. There is no deferral for blood donation due to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
2. Please remember to bring a photo I.D.
3. On the day of your donation, you should complete your health history questions on your tablet, computer, or smartphone prior to coming to the blood drive by using the center’s new QuickPass.
