Kentucky cities can attend a webinar highlighting U.S. Department of Energy funding opportunities available to energy communities.
The Interagency Working Group on Coal and Power Plant Communities and Economic Revitalization (Energy Communities IWG) will present an overview of several funding opportunities and tax credits related to capacity building, manufacturing, clean energy, and economic development. The IWG will also provide information on the application process and relevant resources to support potential applicants.
Those attending the webinar will hear from Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and officials from the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains, the Office of State and Community Energy Programs, and the Loan Programs Office.
