The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) will release data from a study to help communities learn where they stand on local housing supply. The study, Kentucky's Housing Supply Gap Analysis: Phase I Findings, will be presented in a webinar on Tuesday, April 16, at 1 p.m. EDT. The Kentucky League of Cities has partnered with KHC since 2021 to provide its members with information on housing, homelessness, and related issues.
The study will provide in-depth county-level information on all areas and types of housing, as well as commuting patterns and other key factors. The webinar will help cities understand how to use the data to discuss needs, housing development, economic development, and overall planning. It will review the first phase of the project, which will later include future projections.
KLC will offer another webinar in its Development 101 and Top 10 Things Cities Can Do to Attract Developers series on May 15.
