Bowling Green’s Brooks Named Fire Chief of the Year
Bowling Green Fire Department Chief Justin Brooks has been honored as the 2024 Career Chief of the Year by the Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs.
Brooks has been a Bowling Green firefighter for 17 years. He was named chief in 2021.
A post on the Bowling Green Fire Department Facebook page said of Brooks, “Leadership comes in many forms. When you think of leadership, words such as respect, unity, integrity, and trust come to mind. All these qualities are true of a good leader. The City of Bowling Green is grateful to have a leader of our fire department with all these qualities and more.”
The 2024 Career Chief of the Year award is sponsored by the Kentucky League of Cities Insurance.
