The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Cumberland
Plateau-Southern Appalachians Stewardship Fund provides grants to Kentucky,
Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia nonprofit organizations, government agencies,
tribes, and educational institutions for projects to protect and maintain
natural habitats.
Program Priorities:
- Restoring previously mined lands
- Establishing, enhancing, and maintaining forest habitats
- Restoring instream habitats to support aquatic species
- Increasing Adoption of Conservation Practices on
Cropland
- Helping landowners - expanding and coordinating technical assistance and outreach
