The U.S. Soccer Foundation Grants-multiple deadlines

The U.S. Soccer Foundation awards grants on both an annual basis (Program grants) and through a rolling process (Safe Places to Play grants) to support soccer programs and field-building initiatives nationwide. The Foundation also provides funding for "Soccer for Success" after-school program.

Grants are provided to support all aspects of the beautiful game — from assisting programs with operational costs to creating Safe Places to Play.

City and County leadership is key to delivering transformative change at the community level. By making Soccer for Success part of your strategy, you will leverage evidence-based sports programming and build neighborhood play spaces to achieve critical municipal goals and create pathways to success for children and families.

Soccer for Success helps foster safer neighborhoods, provides community members with youth employment opportunities, and is proven to deliver positive health and youth development outcomes. The U.S. Department of Justice cited the program’s unique ability to engage and retain at-risk youth who may not enter or stay in a traditional mentoring relationship. Additionally, 83% of children at greater risk of developing diabetes and/or cardiovascular disease showed improved health outcomes by participating in the program.

We’ll work with you to tailor innovative solutions that address the specific needs and priorities of your community.
