STOP School Violence Program – Due June 20

U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) grants are offered to U.S. territories, states, local governments, schools, and nonprofit organizations to improve school safety. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended to improve school safety by providing students and teachers with the tools they need to recognize, respond quickly to, and help prevent acts of violence.

The program implements training that will improve school climate using school-based behavioral threat assessments and/or intervention teams to identify school violence risks among students, technological solutions shown to increase school safety such as anonymous reporting technology, and other school safety strategies that assist in preventing violence.
